How would you react if you came to know that the signs of fatty liver disease would be shown in our face? Liver is an important organ and any issue in the liver function would lead to inadequate absorption of nutrients plus build up of toxins etc in us. Hence, we must take care of our liver without fail. In some persons, excess build up of fats in the liver cells could lead to a condition called fatty liver or hepatic steatosis. Truth is that persons who are obese, having type-2 diabetes, high cholesterol etc could get fatty liver disease. The signs of fatty liver disease would also be shown in our face and attention to these signs would help us to manage this condition well. Various signs of fatty liver disease shown in face are Yellowish skin colour: Impaired liver functions are indicated by yellowish skin or eye colour. It is worthy to mention that the buildup of bilirubin would reveal the fact that the liver is not able to detoxify effectively. Dark circles under eyes: Fatty liver disease is also revealed by the presence of dark circles around our eyes even after sound sleep. This can be because of toxins build up in us.
